Safe and Sound

Super exciting day with the premiere of There Goes The Motherhood! I wanted to post something to address the lock controversy as I have been getting lots of quesitons related to the bravo teaser. This will be a bit different than my typical blogs but here goes:

I know people are wondering (just as all the moms in my mommy group did) why I latch my kids in their rooms? So here is the 411:
The safety of my kids is why I choose this non orthodox way. I have a really large house where my kids sleep 2 floors below me and my husband.

So, we did this in order to make sure my kids (at the time ages 2, 3 & 4) were safe from roaming around at night and hurting themselves.
I have an amazing intercom system where I can not only see my kids on the camera but can hear them.

Now that my kids are a bit older, they don’t all have latches on their doors. Rocky is the only one that still does as he is only three years old. When they were little, they would actually ask that we latch their door as it also made them feel secure.

So everyone can just chill out and know my kids are safe!
