Is Stefanie Fair Ready to Resurrect Her Wild ’90s Style for Her New Music Video?
Stefanie Fair is ready for her close-up… finally. The There Goes the Motherhood singer is prepping her musical comeback with the release of her upcoming single, “Better Version of Me.” After hitting the studio with her music mogul hubby, Ron Fair, Stefanie is definitely ready for what’s next in her plans to take over the music world again — and that includes filming the video for the tune.
“So the vision for the video is really going to be the juxtaposition of me at home as a mom and then my life before on stage,” Stefanie says of the visual, referencing her days in the girl group Wild Orchid.
Filmed in part at her L.A. home and the famed Troubadour club, Stefanie busted out some rock-n-roll styles and her on-stage charisma for the visual, directed by Patrick Tracy (Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves, Halsey). And while she’s been reluctant to put her performer hat on again after the dissolution of Wild Orchid in 2003, it’s clear that some part of Stefanie has been waiting for this. Because as you can see, the girl exudes star power. She’s used to holding the spotlight with Fergie, but these days Stefanie doesn’t mind sharing the limelight with her four kids (and we have to say, they make for the perfect co-stars).
Check out Stefanie in the studio working on “Better Version of Me,” which is available on June 8.
